Heat water with sugar to dissolve it completely. |
Keep all other ingredients handy as they need to be added quickly. |
Heat the ghee in a pan & keep the pan on medium flame. |
Add the entire wheat flour to the hot ghee. Stir quickly till the wheat flour turns light brown in color. |
As soon as the flour turns light brown in color, add the water & sugar syrup prepared in step 1. Stir constantly. |
Cook halwa till it soak all the water from it. |
Once all the ingredients are nicely mixed, add the nuts & keep stirring. |
Your halwa is ready. Serve hot. |
